What does leave: app updates, license verification, anonymous usage events (which features got used, never what files), a periodic install ping with your Mac's hardware class (CPU type, RAM range, macOS version; never your hostname), and an optional crash report when something breaks. See exactly what a scan will do — before, during, and after.
- Before a scan starts, SupaDupa shows the folder's size and file count and lists the system folders it will skip, so there are no surprises. Very large or external drives get a quick estimate instead of a long wait.
- While a scan runs, you watch live counts and a breakdown that builds up by file type in place of a plain progress bar. Protected system folders that macOS won't let any app read now show as skipped, not as errors.
- SupaDupa now follows your Mac's light or dark appearance on its own, and a new sun and moon button in the toolbar lets you switch on the spot.
- Disconnecting a large folder no longer freezes the app, and Settings is easier to skim, with the details tucked behind a '?' on each row.
